NEW YORK (Associated Press) - Medical device maker BSD Medical Corp. said Thursday government regulators have approved its microwave surgical device MicroThermx.
The device is designed for use by surgeons to destroy, or ablate, soft tissue. Microwave ablation is frequently used to treat coronary artery disease by restoring blood flow to the heart.

FORT COLLINS - The International Conference on Microwave Magnetics will be held Sept. 12-14 in the Lory Student Center at Colorado State University.
